Wokefield Common ~ Path and birch clearance

After a short task opening footpaths which had become difficult to navigate the adjacent gorse having been weighed down by the recent snow, the rest of the day was spent clearing birch from a surviving area of heathland now surrounded by trees, in particular Scots pine and birch. One member of the group even found the time (and the energy) to fill potholes which have appeared in the carpark - well done Peter!
