Moor Copse Nature Reserve ~ Path clearance and coppicing

A path used for butterfly surveys but becoming unusable because of overgrowing trees and bramble, was to be cleared. Despite the cold, the sunshine and lack of wind made for a pleasant day to be working in the woods.

By lunchtime the path was clear and the afternoon was spent coppicing.
